Herman Riggs moved to Pagosa Springs in 1976, and began his career with Eaton International in the Pagosa Lodge, and was quickly transferred to the Real Estate Department where he led the sales force for four consecutive years. In 1980, he then opened his own firm, Coldwell Banker in Pagosa Springs, and within a very short period of time received recognition for being the top producer in the nation for a twelve month period. No small feat, considering the competition... Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Miami, and now, Pagosa Springs.
Herman brings a "result-oriented" professional approach in selling real estate. He believes in community involvement, leadership, and has set an example that will be an ideal for others to follow.

He is the most senior GRI accredited real estate broker in Archuleta County, past president of the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club, past president of Pagosa Springs Enterprises, Inc., the "Red Ryder Round Up", and was the Co-Owner and Co-Publisher of the Pagosa Sun newspaper, is a graduate of the Ranch Management School, Colorado State University, served on the board of directors of the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District, and has held real estate licenses in six western states, is a U.S. Army veteran, loves fishing, hiking, cooking, and horseback riding... and... speaks fluent Italian.
